Items to bring with you on Mon 24th Oct:
1)For Sweet-making Activity – An interactive session run by Akram Masterchefs in which we will all participate together to make Bounty sweet which we will serve as prasad for the Pujan.
- 1 cup dessicated coconut (+ little extra for dusting)
- 1/3 cup ground almonds
- ¼ cup coconut oil
- 2 tbs cocoa powder (not drinking chocolate)
- 4 tbs maple syrup
- ½ tsp vanilla essence
- Large mixing bowl
- measuring cups
- 1 large mixing spoon
- 1 container to take back sweets made
- Wet wipes or kitchen paper for wiping hands
- Apron
2)For Chopda/Laxmi Pujan
- Chopdo/Accounts Book/Paper/Laptop - Laxmiji/Saraswatiji/Ganeshji Murtis or photos (optional) - Red pen - Coin - Flowers/haar
We will be providing the following items for Pujan: - Plate - Glass with milk and water - Glass with water - Bowl - Kanku, Chokha (rice) - Sopari - Kismis (dried raisins) - Nadachhadi
